Introduction

Fenix Acquisitions is seeking a highly strategic and data-driven Talent Intelligence Consultant to advise our executive clients and internal search teams. This is a senior, analytical role dedicated to leveraging advanced data science techniques to provide proprietary insights into the executive talent market.

You will utilize proprietary data tools, external market data, and AI/Machine Learning to perform sophisticated talent mapping, predictive market analysis, and compensation benchmarking. Your mission is to provide an analytical edge that allows Fenix and its clients to make informed, strategic decisions about where and how to acquire critical leadership talent in the B2B SaaS ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Advanced Talent Mapping & Analysis: Design and lead high-level talent mapping projects across niche B2B SaaS verticals, leveraging analytical tools and data science methodologies to predict talent availability and mobility.
  • Compensation Benchmarking & Strategy: Conduct deep-dive compensation analysis using multiple data sources (including proprietary tools), providing strategic recommendations to clients on competitive executive pay structures.
  • Market Trend Advisory: Monitor global economic and talent market signals, translating complex data into clear, actionable intelligence reports for Fenix leadership and our client portfolio.
  • AI/ML Tool Integration: Work with the SaaS Talent Analytics Developer to guide the development and deployment of internal predictive models and tools, specifically leveraging AI/ML capabilities for data parsing and anomaly detection.
  • Consultative Delivery: Present sophisticated findings and strategic recommendations directly to internal Account Specialists and external client leadership in a clear, compelling, and executive-ready format.
  • Thought Leadership: Contribute to Fenix's external presence by generating original research and data-backed content on the state of the B2B SaaS executive labor market.
  • Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in market research, data analysis, strategic consulting, or talent intelligence, with a focus on executive-level roles.
  • Analytical Acumen: Proven ability to design research methodologies, interpret large datasets, and derive strategic talent insights.
  • Advanced Tool Proficiency: Experience utilizing specialized talent intelligence platforms, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker), and a strong familiarity with the capabilities of AI/ML in a research context.
  • B2B SaaS Expertise: Deep understanding of the B2B SaaS landscape, competitive organizational structures, and the value drivers for various executive functions (e.g., GTM, Product, Engineering).
  • Exceptional Presentation Skills: Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data into concise, strategic narratives suitable for C-suite consumption.
  • Project Leadership: Experience leading high-stakes, multi-week research projects with external deliverables and tight timelines.
